I have a new coffee machine at home and I always thought I would be a girl that drinks black coffee. Lo and behold I am not! I drink coffee with a little milk and a spoonful of sugar mixed in. I have been drinking about 1 cup a day, sometimes 2. Yummy so good. I have a couple favorites already. The Cinnabon cinnamon roll one and also the Carmel- vanilla one. I also like the caramel one by Starbucks. I have to be very careful, though I am on a diet, counting calories is a fact of life.  

 I try to stay under 1,000 calories a day. Anymore than that and I seem to waste time dieting! I also use an elliptical 2x a day for a total of 500 calories burned a day. I have also been limiting my protein and eating a half of a cup of rice and 4 oz of chicken and dinner. ( believe it or not I  have a hard time finishing this!) Lunch is usually salad and 1/2 cup of rice also. Once my stomachs was smaller we started doing high protein, suppose to fill you up longer. 

 I have been doing pretty good, however since my daughter started basketball, I have to admit it is harder to find time to do the workouts!  And the snacks at the basketball game call my name. I gave in last night and had nachos. Bad very bad!  

I have a goal that I want to make this year in July. No more excuses.  I want to look hot in a bikini. Smokin hot.! 

In 2012 I weighed 215. This was my heaviest. I lost down to 175 about 2 years ago. But I was also just eating rice cakes.  I went back to regular food and gained back to 197-200 . This last year, right after Christmas, we decided to get serious and really loose. But I needed a tangible realistic goal. My goal for July is 165. It’s 1 pound a week. That will put me at 165 on July 11. My ultimate goal is 140 by next December (2016). Just a pound a week. I know I can do it!  

 This is not my picture. However it is my motivation. It’s very powerful for me.
